Support for a beautiful little girl

As most of my readers are aware, I am part of a tight online mom community that branched off from a much larger message board about pregnancy and babies. This community (GPM) is made up of about 100 beautiful ladies who have supported each other through trying to conceive, getting pregnant, pregnancy losses, and the struggles and triumphs of raising babies. We have gotten to know each other on a very personal level and I don't know what I would do without my "mamas" to consult on all matters of pregnancy and parenting.

Being part of a community like this one allows us to learn about many things that we would otherwise probably never encounter in our lives. One of those things for me has been learning about something called Prader-Willi Syndrome. One of the lovely mamas on our board gave birth to a little girl named Lillian, who after much testing and waiting was diagnosed with PWS. With the help of her parents she is doing amazingly well. However, there is not yet a cure for PWS. 8 month old Lillian is given daily injections of growth hormones and will struggle throughout her life with insatiable hunger.

A couple beautiful mamas on our board decided they could help and have set out on an adventure to help fund the cure for PWS. Vanessa and Beth will be running their first ever 10k in honor of Lillian, with all funds raised donated to the Foundation for Prader-Willi Syndrome. I feel so blessed to know these women, and to see how much love we are capable of for people all around the world whom we've never even met. Lillian and her parents are so deserving of this fundraiser, and Vanessa and Beth are deserving of all the help they can get to make it a success. Please go check out the fundraising page and help them towards their goal! https://www.fpwr.org/civicrm/contribute/pcp/info?reset=1&id=22
