Everyone warns new parents about the terrible two's. But nobody warned me that the tantrums actually start at the age of one. Kate throws tantrums about a variety of things these days and none of them are pretty. She kicks, screams, rolls and bucks during diaper changes. She flings herself from side to side and arches her back when she doesn't want to get in the car. She wails and tries to throw herself to the floor when I put her book away at bedtime.
She's going to give us hell as a teenager I think...
The trial continues, with a new development

It's hard to imagine her being like that, with that sweet face of hers.
Dr. DH likes to say that the "terrible twos" start at one and end at age 5. We're in for it soon ourselves. Sprout is already starting to assert herself!
Carter throws tanturms too, just like Kate. It is no fun.
I know how you feel!
I'm in tantrum hell over here too. It's so annoying I want to just lock her outside! Usually it's when she's waiting for something. Like when I'm washing her blueberries, peeling her banana, or cooking her eggs. My 3rd graders never gave me this much trouble!
